Megan Strachan BA, MGA, JD

Megan Strachan is an associate with Pape Salter Teillet LLP and specializes in Indigenous rights law, with an emphasis on the intersection of environmental and Indigenous law.

Megan advises clients on a wide variety of matters, including the duty to consult and accommodate in environmental and regulatory processes, treaty and self-government issues, and the negotiation and implementation of economic development agreements. Megan works with Indigenous peoples across the country including the First Nation and Métis communities in the Northwest Territories, Ontario and Manitoba.

Prior to joining Pape Salter Teillet LLP, Megan practiced in the Environmental Law Group of a large international law firm in Toronto.

Megan received her JD and her Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto. Megan is called to the bar in Ontario.
