Enid Gibney is an associate with Pape Salter Teillet LLP and specializes in Indigenous rights and Aboriginal law.

Enid advises clients on a variety of matters related to Indigenous peoples and the exercise of their Aboriginal and treaty rights.

Prior to joining Pape Salter Teillet LLP, Enid articled at a national full-service law firm, where she worked on a broad range of litigation matters.

Enid received her JD from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, Enid completed internships at Amnesty International Canada, the Department of Justice, and a criminal law firm. She was selected to collaborate with Ontario Superior Court Judge Giovanna Toscano Roccamo (Ret’d) to research Indigenous underrepresentation on Ontario juries as part of a groundbreaking report to the Canadian Judicial Council on Jury Selection in Ontario.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Enid worked for the federal government at the Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs in the Treaties and Aboriginal Government sector.

Enid is called to the bar in Ontario.
