I serve PST’s clients as both advisor and advocate. As an advisor, I see the law as a tool for resistance and repair. My goal is to figure out how we can use it to best meet each client’s specific needs. As an advocate, I fight for Indigenous rights and freedoms at all levels of court across Canada. I advocate based not just on what laws are, but on what they should be. I have been involved in numerous cases involving constitutional evolution and the recognition of novel torts. I am particularly passionate about using the law to protect Indigenous knowledge and to prevent violence against Indigenous women.
