I provide strategic advice to Indigenous Nations to help them advance their goals while managing risk. When the stakes are high, I represent Nations in court, at inquests, in negotiations, before regulatory boards and in the community. I am committed to defending and advancing Indigenous peoples’ rights, goals, histories and, ultimately, their futures. I fundamentally believe that what is at stake – to echo the words of former Chief Justice McLachlin in Tsilhqot’in – is nothing less than justice for Indigenous peoples and reconciliation between Indigenous peoples and Canadians.
