Our team

I believe that reconciliation with Indigenous peoples should be the principal goal of all governments across Canada. This means fully implementing the promises in both historic and modern treaties, and it means negotiating agreements that empower Indigenous governments to determine what is the best path forward for current and future generations. Indigenous peoples and their governments have inherent jurisdiction over their lands, resources and internal matters; this must be recognized by all levels of public government and by all people in Canada. I see my role as doing everything possible to see this belief acknowledged, respected and put into practice.
